For young people aged 16 to 24 who are unable to access centre based provision.

What it involves

Some young people cannot walk into a building yet. Anxiety, EBSA, medical needs or a long time away from education can make that step feel impossible. So we go to them, and we start there.

Support delivered at home, in community venues or in alternative locations, so a young person can engage even when attending centre is not yet possible.

Attendance: flexible, usually 2 to 12 hours per week.

Length: flexible to individual need.

Every young person receives a support plan built around their strengths, needs and aspirations.

Our team is experienced in engaging young people who have previously struggled to access traditional services.

The goal is not just engagement for engagement’s sake, but helping young people move towards sustainable, positive outcomes.

FAQ

At home, in community venues such as a library, cafe, or in another agreed location. We work out what feels manageable with the young person and family.

Usually between 2 and 12 hours, flexible to need and built up gradually.

Not always. For some young people it is, and we plan that transition carefully. For others the goal is employment, further education or simply being able to leave the house and take part in community life.

Our centre is in Redditch, and we work across Redditch, Bromsgrove, Worcester and wider Worcestershire, with outreach delivered in homes and community venues.

Yes. Every member of our team is DBS checked and safeguarding trained, and we carry out risk assessments before any home based work begins.
