For Employers and Employer Partnerships

Inclusive hiring, made straightforward

Partnering with Beyond Barriers is one of the most rewarding things a business can do, and we make it easy.

Only 34% of autistic people are in work, compared with 82% of non-disabled people, yet 77% of unemployed autistic people say they want to work.

There is a large, motivated and overlooked talent pool, and we help you reach it, with full support around your business.

How it works

We shape a role around real tasks (job carving), provide a job coach, and help access Access to Work funding, which can fund a coach for up to 26 weeks.

You offer the opportunity, and we handle the support.

The opportunity

There are 5.6 million disabled people in work in the UK, yet autistic graduates are around half as likely as their peers to be employed 15 months after leaving education, and autistic employees face one of the widest pay gaps of any group, at nearly 28%. Inclusive employers who act on this stand out.
