Introduction

Beyond Barriers Pathways CIC is committed to creating a safe, inclusive and respectful environment where all individuals are valued equally and treated with dignity, fairness and respect.

We believe every young person has the right to access opportunities, support and education regardless of their background, identity, experiences or additional needs. We are committed to promoting equality, celebrating diversity and actively challenging discrimination, prejudice and barriers to participation.

As a specialist post-16 SEMH, employability and supported internship provision, Beyond Barriers Pathways CIC recognises that many young people may have experienced exclusion, discrimination, trauma or disadvantage. Our provision is therefore built upon trauma-informed, relational and inclusive practice that promotes belonging, wellbeing, confidence and positive outcomes.

Directors

Staff & Volunteers

Staff and volunteers are responsible for:

Young People

Young people are encouraged to:

  • Report concerns safely

  1. Reporting Concerns

Concerns relating to discrimination, bullying or harassment should be reported to:

  • Staff members
  • Directors
  • Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

Concerns will be managed appropriately in line with:

  • Complaints procedures

Beyond Barriers Pathways CIC is committed to reviewing its practice regularly to ensure equality and inclusion remain central to the organisation.
