Important Information for Families & Commissioners
Beyond Barriers CIC operates as a specialist non-school post-16 provision. While our academic calendar broadly aligns with Worcestershire term dates, our delivery dates may differ from those of maintained schools.
Key arrangements to keep in mind:

Individualized Schedules: Individual learners may have different start dates, attendance patterns, and programme durations depending on their individual needs and commissioned placements.

Placement Confirmation: Families will be provided with confirmation of their young person’s individual attendance arrangements when their placement begins.

Short-Term Programmes: Programme duration is calculated based on agreed delivery weeks. Scheduled closure periods do not count as delivery weeks unless otherwise agreed with the commissioner.
